Service · Entry point

One document. One conclusion.

The Venture Diagnosis is the paid, deeper read: one document and one conclusion about what is actually killing the venture. $1,000–$2,000 — the only priced service in the business.

Who it is for

Founders with a build and a flat line.

Something shipped, and the numbers did not follow. Most teams in that position describe a build problem, and most of the time it is not one — it is a stage misread upstream of the code.

If nothing is built yet, this is not the service. Take the free Venture Audit instead; it will say so faster and cost nothing.

How it runs

Two weeks, three sessions, one document.

The output

A conclusion you can act on Monday.

01The stageWhere the venture actually sits on Stuck-to-Scale, against where you believe it sits.
02The missing foundationStrategy, creativity or technology — named, with the evidence that says so.
03The scopeWhat an engagement against that gap would be, and explicitly what it would not include.
04The cut listWhat to stop doing. Usually the most valuable page in the document.
What moves the number

How much is unknown, not how big you are.

The band does not move. What moves within it is the amount of unknown the read has to clear — a venture with clean data and one open question sits at the bottom of the band; a venture with three theses and no instrumentation sits at the top.

The full fee is credited against a follow-on engagement, claimable within 30 days of the handover session.

What it is not

Not a deck, not a discovery call.

It is not a proposal in disguise. Roughly a third of diagnoses conclude that no engagement should follow, and we still hand over the document.

It is not a research report either. One conclusion, defended — not forty slides of options.

Good. The document carries the reasoning, so the disagreement is about evidence rather than taste. Several diagnoses have been revised after that argument.

The founder who owns the decision. Not the whole team, and not a delegate — the session forces calls that only that person can make.

Yes. Standard mutual NDA, signed before signal gathering starts.
